Violinist Jim Plattes and pianist Larry McDonough lead Roma Jazz, which packed the Aster Café and the Lexington with their show “Grappelli, Ellington, and More.” They will celebrate the collaboration of legendary French violinist Stéphane Grappelli with Duke Ellington, adding music from pairings with other pianists and guitarist Django Reinhardt. They are joined by Matt Senjem, bass, and Corey Needleman, drums.
